Off to Osaka

Ok well I'm back at the hotel right now and I just came back from eating some great sushi... real sushi!!! :) I leave at 845am to Osaka by the bullet train also called the Shinkansen. I will finally see my place on Thursday I'm excited about it. I have made some cool friends. Well just a quick up date. See ya :P

Hey everybody!! :)

Ok so I just got back from some meetings and we went to have a couple of beers down the street wearing suits LOL I met all the people that are going to be in my area OSAKA!!! They are really nice and I'm really happy and excited about living in Osaka. Tonight we are going to have a "prefectural night out" for osaka so we are meeting at 845pm in the hotel lobby (the hotel is freaking 5 star amazing) and the osaka people are going to go out and mingle with a few drinks. Right now I'm just in the hotel room hanging out about to have a shower. It's cloudy and cool over here and last night it was pouring rain. We had a meeting this morning and there was at least 1000 people it was crazy. We were served some really great lunch and in morning we had a breakfast so me and my roomates went down all ghetto dressed and ate breakfast. I was wearing my miners t shirt so it was quite funny. Almost time!

Ok well it's starting to hit me that in a few days I will be on my way to a journey of a lifetime. Right now I'm sitting in my room looking at my 2 MONSTER duffle bags. I really hope they are not overweight! Apparently I have a 50 lb limit and can only take 2 bags. It seems to be an art to be able to pack everything into those things and I did it! I guess I can thank my old job for the stacking ability LOL. I hope to eat some mexican food tonight and some amazing pizza from casa pizza on wednesday. Anyway I have a few more things to do, I'll be back later. :)

last weekend

Ok well being that this was my last weekend in El Paso, I did absolutely nothing at all. It's almost like nobody even cares I'm leaving. It's not that I am expecting a big hoopla about it but damn not even my friends call or anything. Oh well, it's all good. I don't even know how to approach these last few days. I am definitely excited about meeting new friends. Well I suppose that is my rant for the day, any way I'll be back soon. Oh by the way I was able to pack that horrible stack of clothes all nice into my bags so I'm good to go!!! WOOT!!! see ya

Ok so in about 1 week from today I will leaving to Phoenix to catch a flight to LA. Then on the 28th I will take off to Tokyo on American Airlines. Not too thrilled about American but whatever.

I'm not sure if any of you have ever packed up your life and moved away to another country, but wow this is sure overwhelming. I'm not sure what to take with me. Many people I have spoken to say that it will be hard for me to find clothes for my size in Japan, since I am quite tall. So I am bringing extra clothes as you can see from the pics I posted here LOL. I am going to go buy some space bags!!! Well I will be back soon to let you know how things are going.
