Merry New Year! :)

Hello everybody! It's been a while since I have posted but the past few days have been a bit dull. Oh before I start I put some new songs in the music player at the bottom. The new ones are the songs after the Halo song.....anyway

I hope everybody had a great Christmas, or Festivus or whatever you celebrate. Mine was ok, I just went to eat turkey dinner at a foreigner restaurant. The funny thing was that there were almost no foreigners! :) This weekend I am going out with this gir l named Mayuka. I met her at (of all places) Starbucks. I'm looking forward to that ;). There really is not any elaborate celebrations for Christmas like back in the states. So there was really nothing to do. It's ok though I talked to my family and friends and played a lot of xbox.

Let me know the details on how your holiday was! What are you doing for New Years? As for me probably nothing but I will try and find something going.

I want to say thanks to all the people who have consistently viewed my blog, left comments and just been a fan. I appreciate it! Sometimes I think that nobody is really even reading this thing, and that my attempt at making a cool blog is completely futile. Your comments help me think otherwise. If you have any suggestions shoot them my way please. I want this to be somewhere cool, so please give me some ideas. Well take care everybody, listen to some of the music and just be careful. Good times!

Hey all! I had a good Friday! It was the last day of school for this year. We took some pics of my classes. I also went to the end of year school party downtown for all the teachers! I had such a good time. The food was awesome and I drank a bunch of beer. Actually everybody drank a bunch of beer. Afterwards we went to a bar that I know. It was so much fun. Tonight I'm going with my buddy Tom from New York to eat a burger. I hope you all are doing good, take care! Miss you!

Plain Day

Well this week is really going by fast! Payday was Monday so thats great. I had a great dinner last night and today I only have 1 class. So I guess it's all good right now. Thanks to everybody for the virtual presents as I said before. I have been getting a bunch lately!

This Friday is the end of year party at work. There is a bunch of hype about this party going around the school. Well at least I think it's hype, I can't exactly understand everything. haha Last night I was playing a game mass effect. Oh man I started to play about 6pm after dinner. I was so engrossed in the game that I didn't finish until about 12am. I had no clue what time it was while I was playing it was pretty funny. Well there is nothing exciting going on right now, so I will be back soon with some more updates ok! I promise!

Karaoke time

Hey everybody! I just got home from karaoke with my neighbor, her kids and a friend of mine! It was so much fun. Afterwards we went to eat dinner, and after that we went to play arcade games. Hi sorry for the long delay

Hello everybody! I'm really sorry for not writing anything lately. The honest truth is that there really hasn't been anything worth writing about. It's been really bone chilling cold out here lately. Every morning I ride my bike to school which is a bit unpleasant, but I have gloves and other gear so it's not so bad. School is going pretty good. Next week is the last week this year. The students are ready for a break. Frankly, so am I. Although I'm not really looking forward to the break because I don't think I'm doing anything. It's going to suck this Christmas. I don't really think that Japanese people want to invite foreigners to hang out with them on Christmas. Well at least I haven't got any invitations or anything. Oh well whatever, it's all good.

Next Friday there is a party for my work, called a bonenkai. It's apparently a party for the end of the year. It will be held at this fancy hotel in downtown Osaka. It should be pretty fun I guess. I will be going with one of the Japanese teachers, she is new and by some bizarre reason we got set up. It will be cool, I'm looking forward to it. Tomorrow I will be going to Karaoke and dinner with my neighbor and her friends. I really need to do some Karaoke, you can get a lot of stress out by singing some good songs.

What are some of your plans for the holidays? Let me know what some of you are going to be doing? I'd be thrilled to know! :)

I wanted to say congratulations to my cousins Lynn and Melanie. They are graduating Saturday December 15, 2007 from UTEP! I'm so proud of them for their achievements! You rock! Oh and also to Lynn for dealing with all sorts barricades put in her life and not letting them stop her!!! YAY! Two more special family members will be graduating in May 08! So that rocks too!!

Oh yeah, thanks again to everybody for my virtual Christmas presents! I'm really enjoying them. OK well I will be going now, I will see some of you on web cam soon at my cousins graduation party back in El Paso! I can't wait! See you all I miss you!

Hello all!

So lately I have been engulfed in the greatness that is the video game "mass effect". My brother send it to me last weekend and it is awesome! After work I have been coming home and playing! Nothing new has been going down this week. It is really cold though. Some people take it way to far though. Sometimes the people here look like they are going on an expedition to Antartica or the North Pole. Today I wore a tshirt under my jacket and when I took off my jacket they couldn't believe that I had just a tshirt!!! WOW!!! hahah I'm going to my co-workers house for dinner this Sunday. She teaches Chinese which is pretty cool. She invited me yesterday, so I'm excited because it's something cool to do. Well I will be back this weekend for some updates and news. Please be careful where ever you are in the world, I miss you and thank you for reading my blog.

Yellowcard ROCKS!!!

Wow, I just got back from the Yellowcard/Just Surrender concert in Downtown Osaka! It was so awesome! My friends and I were the only foreigners in the whole place. It was a pretty small show so we were right in front of the bands. They didn't allow us to take pictures or videos it really sucked! Just trust me the show was sick! About halfway through Ryan from Yellowcard stopped and said that he noticed there were some "American Looking people" there. And we just screamed even though 2 of us were from England!! He dedicated a song to us! It was soooooooooooooo awesome! After the show we went to talk to the guys from Just Surrender, they were really nice and I took a pic with the singer and one of the guitar players! Oh man it was nice. I bought my brother and I a Tshirt so NaneO expect a Yellowcard shirt in the mail dude! :) OK well enjoy the pics. I will be back tomorrow to write something OK! What a sad time

I don't know if you have heard about this but, Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor died this morning. He was shot during an attempted robbery at his house yesterday. He was shot in the leg and his artery was hit. I don't follow the Redskins, or know too much about this guy but damn it saddens me to hear something so horrible. The guy was 24 years old. Somethings I will never understand, damn damn damn damn! Just tragic.....

Other than that news tonight I had a great day. I will give another exam tomorrow to my seniors. I think they are really prepared for it so it should be good! Ok I'm out tonight, going to hang out with my friend. take care everybody I miss you.

Grading exams!

Hey all! At the moment Im grading my students 3rd term exams. They really did a great job. I told them to write anything on the back of the test to me in Japanese or English. Here are some photos of them.

Hey everybody! Wow it's been a while eh? Well life has been a bit bland lately. I was engulfed in college football this past weekend. I was a bit dissappointed about the Kansas loss but hey it's all good. I love the underdogs in the championship! Today I was thinking about heading back to EP for christmas, so I called up a local travel agency and the cheapest I can get a ticket is about $1,400! It's a tad bit pricey I think. Oh well, I will have to just sit around in Osaka.

I found out today that there is a giant party for the teachers at my school on December 21st. This is called an "enkai". Supposedly all the teachers will go to this party and it will be at a hotel in Namba(where I through the happy time party). I guess I will look forward to this, since I have no idea what to do around xmas. I will figure something out!

Ok, so I went to go eat with my amazingly kawaii friend Fumiko right now. I was trying to get her to take a photo but she said she looked bad (like that is even possible). I will get one though OK! :) We ate some yakitori and some awesome grilled cheese sandwiches! haha :) GOOD TIMES! Not to mention we had a few beers, so it all went down nice. She is a really cool girl. Actually she is the first local girl that I met in my area. Plus we live about 2 blocks away so it's cool. Anyway, I put a few more random pics I took with my cell phone last week and today. Another is the place where we were at eating.

School business... Well today I suggested to the English department to allow me to create an English club. I want my own room and just time to hang out. I know I can get some students in there to speak English, trade English music, watch movies, and just hang out. It will be a cool place to be, also if the students need help with English homework they have a great resource! ME!! I just want to try and do something for myself here. I sometimes feel that they think I am just a kid with no idea how to teach. When in fact I spent 5 years in Uni studying about education... Oh well...

Alright, tomorrow I am going try and hit up a Temple or something to take some photos after work. I hope it's not too dark though, because lately the sun has been going down around 4:30pm. Yes, I know Marcel you are dying to see more pictures haha :)

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, I missed the snow in El Paso during the holiday weekend. It must have been really nice, any EP people send me some pics of the snow. I'm sure "BEN SWANN" and the rest of the ridiculous "KFOX TV" were out there sliding around. (storm 2006) hahaha ;)
